Chocolate Pudding No Box Can Match

 

2 Cups of Whole Milk

½ Cup Sugar

3 Tablespoons of Hershey’s Natural Unsweetened Cocoa

1 Tablespoon Butter

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

3 tablespoons Corn Starch

 

Note: Once Ingredients are added stirring must remain constant.

Add all ingredients (EXCEPT VANILLA EXTRACT) too warm milk. Increase heat to medium. Just before the mixture boils it becomes very thick and will stick to the back of a metal spoon. Remove from heat and stir in Vanilla Extract. Pour into bowls or pie shell.

If you are making this for a pie double all the ingredients and cut back slightly on the milk.

 

Version 2 - For those with special dietary needs

 

Use Organic Soy milk and Evaporated Cane Juice. The method will remain the same.
