Cream Cheese Banana Bread Preparation time: 15 minutes Ingredients 1 ½ cups flour 7 teaspoons baking powder 1 cup sugar A pinch of salt 2 ripe bananas 4 tablespoons cream cheese (at room temperature) 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (gotta have!) 2 large eggs Preparation Preheat the oven at 375 degrees. Cream the cheese with a mixer. Add eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract. When all of these ingredients are well incorporated, the batter should look very smooth. Add the bananas and vegetable oil. Add dry ingredients. Do not over mix. Pour the batter in a greased, floured baking dish and bake for 35 minutes. |
