Cream Cheese Brownies


½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

½ cup cocoa powder

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ baking powder

1/8 teaspoon fine salt

3 large eggs

4 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)

1 ½ cups sugar

2 vanilla beans cut lengthwise

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Beat the sugar, butter, cream

cheese, and vanilla bean seeds until they are creamy. Add the

eggs one at a time beating after each addition till well blended.

Please be careful not to over mix the batter.


Please use parchment paper in your pan and spray it with a non-stick oil and pour the batter in. Bake for 30-35 minutes in a 9 by 13-inch baking pan or until toothpick comes out dry.


Cool the brownies in the pan on a rack.


To take the brownies out of the pan, lift the edges of the paper. Cut the brownies into squares and serve.
