Cinnamon Brownies ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter ½ cup cocoa powder 1 cup all-purpose flour ½ baking powder 1/8 teaspoon fine salt 3 large eggs 1 ½ cups sugar 2 vanilla beans cut lengthwise 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Beat the sugar, butter and vanilla bean seeds until they are creamy. Add the eggs one at a time beating after each addition till well blended. Add the dry ingredients and walnuts. Please be careful not to over mix the batter. Please use parchment paper in your pan and spray it with a non-stick oil and pour the batter in. Bake for 30-35 minutes in a 9 by 13-inch baking pan or until toothpick comes out dry. Cool the brownies in the pan on a rack. To take the brownies out of the pan, lift the edges of the paper.
